Watch out for this film, Art School Confidential. It's the latest film from director Terry Zwigoff (Crumb, Ghost World, Bad Santa). It's another collaboration with comic illustrator/screenwriter Daniel Clowes. Here's the trailer.

Okay, this just jumped onto my must-see list.
I hate to admit I still haven't seen "Bad Santa", but that's actually just an accident. I heart Crumb and Ghostworld, so it's all good.

I actually disliked Bad Santa. There just didn't seem to be anything likeable about any of the characters in that film. I need likeable characters in films like some people need melody in music. Ghostworld and Crumb were great though.

I love films with no redeeming qualities, though sometimes it takes a bit.
Remember "Very Bad Things"? It was just awful the entire way through, and I laughed my ass off.

tng - Yeah, I guess I liked Bad Santa because everyone was so unlikeable. It seemed like the perfect anti-Christmas movie. It's definitely a one-note movie, but I liked the note.

Madame - For me, those are movies like Road House or Bloodsport. Dear god, those are bad--painfully bad. But I have to watch. The power of crap compels me!
