Most uninspired music video of the 1980s?

OK, I hesitate to tell you this for fear of being ostracized. The truth is I'm just not cool. Growing up my favorite bands were Styx, Yes, RUSH and... Asia. The sad thing is, they still are. Oh well. Anyway, here is what I can only describe as the most uninspired music video of the 1980s. I mean, it's like they weren't even trying. Still, it's a kick ass tune from a very memorable album. Speaking of which, I have odd musical associations. For instance, I always associate Asia with Christmas. The good ones. And yet, I never got an Asia tape for X-Mas. How odd is that?

Comments:
Don't feel bad; that first Asia album was awesome. Also, Rush is a terrific band; highly respected as both musicians and rock stars. In fact, I think Rush might just be the best rock trio ever. Oh, shit...wasn't Cream a trio? Dammit.

No shame in liking that stuff. You want shame? I still rock out to Billy Squire when he comes on the classic rock station. (I am spared the embarassment of having him on my mp3 player because my Billy Squire collection was on cassette rather than cd.)

All right, people, we ALL have those songs, bands, albums that would cause us total shame and embarrassment if it ever got out that we liked them.
I liked "Bye Bye Bye". Shhhh! You'll scare the part of me that loves Korn!
And is Tom Jones embarrassing anymore, or is he just kitsch? Because I love me some Tom Jones.

Tom Jones rocks hard, man! Sure, he has become a self parody in the last decade or so, but the guy has a set of pipes that won't quite. My mom had this great 8-track tape; I think it had "I Who Have Nothing," "Lodi", "Daughter of Darkness", "To Love Somebody"...I can't remember the other songs. We would rock out to that shit, and I was only 3 or 4 years old! Still remember that.

Montag - I used to get Billy Squire and Eddie Money confused. I think the difference was that Billy Squire rocked. Eddie Money--not so much.
