When You Really Look at It...

I'm starting what will, I'm sure, become a highly popular and successful series here at Braindead Shithead.

The premise? (Perhaps unexpectedly) difficult choices... Here's the first:

Keanu Reeves or Brendan Fraser?

If pushed, I would "vote" for Fraser. He was in Gods and Monsters and The Quiet American, which are both excellent films (despite his presence).

I choose Fraser. I think he's better than Keanu but under-rated from being in some bad movies [cough]George of the Jungle[/cough] while Keanu is overrated from being in more popular movies. (Credit where due though: River's Edge, Johnny Mnemonic, the first Matrix.)

But really, what character could be more endearing than Adam in Blast from the Past? And how else can you explain that The Mummy was actually not all that bad? (Oh yeah, hottie Rachel Weisz. But still.)

Fraser. For sure.
Keanu acts like someone's reading him the lines through an earpiece.
He's like Nicholas Cage, only hotter.
And hey, I love the Mummy movies! They're some of my son's favorite movies.
I had to watch them over and over and over again...
