Friday Night Videos
Remember Friday Night Videos? If you lived in the middle of nowhere without cable in the early 1980s, this was how you got your weekly dose of video pop culture. If I remember right, this was the premiere source of music videos circa 1982/1983, even getting videos before MTV.
Well, in what I hope becomes a regular feature at Braindead Shithead, here's your first dose of Friday Night Videos starting off with some videos from what I consider to be one of the top 10 albums of the 1980s, even if it was somewhat inconsistent. No video for my second favorite song off this album, Flying North, but there is a cute little amateur video of Washu from Tenchi Muyo set to She Blinded Me With Science. Enjoy.
I remember Friday Night Videos. It was our only source for video fun. I remember Duran Duran being in heavy rotation.
Later, I was a big fan of Night Flight on USA network. That was a great show.
