Nintendo rocks!

This has been floating around for a while, but I finally found a functional copy of it. These are covers to rock songs done in the style of the Nintendo music and sound effects. I can't get enough of this stuff.



I posted one song in the SIMv4.o, but I just had to post the remainder of the songs. Yes, I even reproduced the track "Silence"--that's how much I care. Enjoy. **Bolt seems to be having some trouble loading. If you hit the "Stop" button on most browsers it will work fine**

I want to say something really deep about videogame culture affecting mainstream pop culture and how so much of what we take for granted now originated in videogame culture, which from the mid-1980s on means it originated in Japanese culture. There was something in there about cross-cultural assimilation too but I'm way too tired so I'm just going to punt and say Rick James never sounded so good. Well, almost as good as the time Ray Parker Jr. did Rick James.

Now that you mention it, Angel of Death sounds like it could be one of the Castlevania themes.
