Snakes on a Plane

For whatever reason, people have really taken to this damn "Snakes on a Plane" movie.
Besides being one of the most uninspired titles to come along in...okay, like fifteen minutes, but seriously...it just seems preternaturally stupid. Oo, snakes on a plane.
Quick, somebody get me Samuel L. Jackson!

HERE is the IMDb page for the actual movie.

But HERE you will find some quite amusing little gif animations of potential SoaP scenarios, as well as how to do it in sign language. Really, quite helpful, though one DOES need a prop for the second explanation.

And, to help us cope with all the really fucking stupid "Snakes On A Plane" references, is a handy listing of links to snakes on other things. A particular favorite? Snakes on Romaine. Check it out HERE

Comments:
I like the tagline supplied by a commenter at IMDBL

"This Summer, You Will Believe That Snakes Can Fly!"

Arggh! And it's got Samuel L. Jackson who seems to be in a deathrace with Sylvester Stallone and John Travolta to see who can throw away their career the fastest.

I don't know, TNG, I read/heard somewhere that Samuel Jackson is the top earner in Hollywood. Not per film, but because he works so much.

He isn't overexposed, doesn't seem to take himself too seriously, and from the few interviews I've seen is pretty like-able.

I reckon he'll have work for as long as he wants it. (Heck, according to IMDb he's got eight projects YET to come out in 2006-07.)

Montag-you're right.
He surpassed Harrison Ford as the person who's made the most, movie wise.
I think we need to re-christen "The Hardest Working Man In Show Business!"

I have to agree with tng; Sam could stand to be a little choosier. He'll never be offered the Denzel roles, but he can do better than "Snakes on a Plane" for fucksake. To his credit, he's good in everything he's in, even if the movie doesn't deserve him.
