J-Pop Sunday

Well, we're going to get about as far from J-Pop as you can and still be in Japan. This week we have some Japanese punk from The Blue Hearts. While I don't believe this band was overly popular in Japan, a couple of their tunes are widely used such as Train Train and Linda Linda. I'm not normally a big punk fan, though I do love The Clash, but the energy and enthusiasm this band puts into their tunes makes me smile. The second vid in this set has a spoken introduction so if that bugs you, skip to 55 seconds into the video and you'll get to the music.

Isn't he great!? My gawd, I'd like to know what drugs he takes because I sure could use some of that energy a lot of days.
