Sunday in the Mix v10.0
We start the Mix with some straight ahead rock & roll (with guitars and everything!). People in Planes, Wolfmother, and Darker My Love almost make you want to stuff a sock down your pants and pretend to be Robert Plant!
Then comes a great song by Nearly. I really really like this song. Absentee and Barbara Morgenstern provide fun, quirky little numbers. I have no idea what Barbara is saying, but I dig it! Semifinalists serves up a strange number (which I love) after that.
In case you haven't noticed, I've settled upon a formula for the #8, 9 and 10 songs. #8 is the 'long song', usually instrumental. Today, Wagon Christ fits the bill nicely. #9 is the weird, somewhat experimental song--from Sunset Rubdown. And at #10 we have the oldie. Today is a real keeper from Lenny Dee.
