Education Friday: "I'm Just A Bill"

Perhaps the most recognized Schoolhouse Rock song of them all. Sadly, this is the last installment of America Rock, as I can't find the last few episodes. Sorry, gang. I have a few episodes of Grammar Rock, which I'll start next week.

I had School House Rock Rocks, or whatever the compilation of current rock groups doing SHR was called, which is pretty much the only way I recognize any of them. Always pissed me off it was never on when I was young. That magical time when it was a little old for television anymore, but not old enough to be hip again.

I actually have the DVD now so when you're done with your run I can fill in what you missed. BTW: These videos have always had extremely low volume and I thought it was the fault of whoever ripped them, but the problem is with the damn DVD. I had to boost the hell out of the sound levels just to get them listenable, and there's all kinds of noise all over them. I was disappointed, they could have at least cleaned up the soundtrack for the DVD.

Madame - I think they still replay them on Saturday mornings, but I guess it wouldn't be the same. I think I have Schoolhouse Rocks! Rocks somewhere, if you would like to listen to it.

tng - Yeah, the volume sucks. I had the exact same problem. I forgot you were getting the DVD. Pretty much all I've got left is the Grammar Rock.
