It Came From The 80's...and Stephen J. Cannell

I must incorporate one of these two shows into the 'meet cute' for the main character and love interest in my screenplay (see Don't Floss with Tinsel later for more details). If you had to choose--and yes, you do have to choose--which show would it be.

Just an aside; I know much more about "Riptide" (yeah, I watched it, okay!!!), but "Tales of the Gold Monkey" just sounds funnier.

Okay, I'd usually say go with what you know, but dude, "Tales of the Gold Monkey" has Stephen Collins! And it looks like it was completely ripped off by "Tailspin".
Or am I the only one who remembers that cartoon?

Oh, no! Controversy!

Tales of the Gold Monkey scares me a little because my favorite character was the dog with the eye patch. That can't be a good sign, can it?

Well, it's a tough decision. Pirate dogs or anthropomorphic robots.

I don't recall Tales of the Gold Monkey. But you're right Madame. That's the first thing I thought of too. Tailspin. Not that Disney has had an original thought in the last 40 years.

Speaking of which, why is my website getting a couple hundred visits a day from Disney.com for the past few days? I can't even tell what they're linking to. My site is so unDisney too. This is almost as frustrating as that Russian white supremacist site that was sending visitors my way.

TNG-well, I hate to say it, but you may just have a freak magnet.
Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. You're fine, then one day, BAM! you get freaks.
I don't think it can be surgically removed. Though, and you have to judge it just right, sometimes mockery can take care of them.
Or being even weirder in response.
But beware...once it starts, it never stops.
