Okay, I've got to say one thing; this makes me very bitter! How dare Hollywood produce such a wicked piece of satire...without my name on it!

3 years ago I wrote a script about Wal...er...X-Mart. Realizing they have killed every other business in America, X-Mart proclaims itself a sovereign nation. It holds the country hostage, depriving everyone of food and medicine. Wackiness (and untold carnage) ensues. I even had a kickass logline: "The stinging satire America so desperately needs...with explosions!"

Did I get any love from Hollywood? Hell no! "This is too out there. This isn't accessible enough. This material is too dangerous. Blah blah blah."

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!

Okay. Sorry about that. It's been a rough week.

That sounds awesome, JR. You're movie, not how they killed it.

This one doesn't seem to be getting much love either. As I understand, it's opening only in LA, and I'm suspicious that the only promotion it's getting is sime viral video and internet stuff.
