Holy fucking balls! The new Bond looks good!

The official Casino Royale trailer has hit the internet and it looks BAD ASS!!! I am slightly stoked for this stripped down, reckless-as-hell Bond, if you couldn't tell. According to a spy in London, things seem well on track. An exclusive screening went extremely well, with the chief complaint from the reviewer being too much emphasis on developing the central love story. TOO MUCH? This sounds freakin' wonderful.

Anyway, November 17 can't come soon enough for me.

Mmm. Bond. I heart Bond. And I'm also rather fond of Daniel Craig. I'll admit, I'm willing to give him a chance at being Bond. Hell, I think most people objected simply because he's blonde-that's just hair color. I've seen him dark before...crap, now I can't remember what movie it was, but whatever.

Huh. I haven't actually seen any of the last few Bond films. This looks like it may change my mind though.

Madame - The only 3 movies I've seen with Daniel Craig are "Road to Perdition" (he plays the crazy son of Paul Newman), "Layer Cake", and "Munich". I think he's a very good actor. Whether he IS Bond remains to be seen, but I'm optimistic (though Clive Owen would have been a better choice, I think). The blonde hair thing is insane. Roger Moore had fair hair, for cryin' out loud! How quickly they forget.

tng - The last Bond I saw in the theater was "Goldeneye," but I will definitely drag Mrs. J.R. to this one. I'm dreading the torture scene, though. Any man would, I think. Ouch!

I don't know if you guys read the review over at AICN. The thing that got me most excited was the description of Bond at the bar. After losing a shitload of money, Bond orders a vodka martini. The bartender asks, "Shaken or stirred?" Bond replies, "Does it look like I give a damn?" Man, I love that shit!

JR-he had dyed dark brown hair, and was in a nuthouse, and for the life of me I still can't remember which freaking movie it was-I don't know why I don't just IMDB it...

I've seen almost all of them, and the last one was absolute trash... so awful in so many levels I thought I'd never see a good Bond movie again. This trailer has given me some hope back... :-)

Aoi - I know what you mean. "Die Another Day" was beyond bad. Maybe it will improve over the years, but I doubt it. Thanks again for the link!
