I cannot WAIT for this movie!

Okay, I'm sure you think that all the time...hot damn, such and such movie's gonna be awesome, I am SO going to have to go see it!
Then, when the time comes that it's in theatres? You really could care less.
Or, you know, find better ways to spend that $6.50 for the matinee.

Well, not this time.
Number one, I am a HUGE John Waters fan. HUGE. And I don't just mean my pants size here. I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some John Waters. LOVE.
And what else do I love?
Remakes! Okay, usually I prefer them when they are simply SONG remakes, but you know what?
This cast rocks.
Because after all. Where else are you going to get to see John Travolta married to Christopher Walken?
Nowhere, my friends.
Nowhere.




Now, I'm gonna sing the theme song as I go Madison my way into the kitchen.

This is (are you ready) the (scheduled for) 2007 film version of the new stage musical adaptation of the 1988 John Waters movie Hairspray. And yes, there is a blog.

Yeah, I know, it's an adaptation of a play that was adapted from a movie. But I don't care.

Yeah, but if anybody can pull this off it's John Waters. Still, I'm prejudiced against anything with John Travolta in it. Actually I'm bigoted against scientologists. I mean, if you're going to pick a religion, why would you pick the one religion that's even more f*ed up than the Mormons?

And the funniest thing?
They still tend to do whatever they want, only they have much more guilt about it.

Kinda like Catholics, only with a whole separate book with their bible, instead of more books IN their bible.
