Um, did anyone else know this was supposed to be a trilogy?


Apparently, in all the hoopla over KFed's releasing the suck on us yesterday, I missed this little tidbit.

Meat Loaf released "Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose."
In all honesty, I love Meat Loaf. Ever since first seeing him as Eddie in RHPS back in the day, I have loved him. (And, hello, bitch tits? Totally the awesome.)
On the other hand, his music? Not my favorite.
Oh, the grand pomposity of the '70s rock, which he still embraces. Though, thank god, with shorter hair.

So, in honor of him completing the trilogy (jesus, I thought it was bad enough with that whole "I would do anything for love"...did we really have to have a third?), here's a tip of the hat to Meat Loaf, and also the video for his newest single "Couldn't have said it better myself."

I've seen BOOH III floating around the internets for a few weeks but couldn't muster the courage to snag it. To be honest, I didn't know there was a BOOH II.

The original Bat Out of Hell was a classic. BOOH II wasn't great, but we were all amazed that Meat hadn't stroked out on stage yet. BOOH III however is just sad and wrong.
